JOSEPH'S FORECAST
February 5, 2013
After a few showers this evening we will see some breaks in the clouds overnight. As we cool, low clouds will form before we get up in the morning. Clouds from the next front will move inland during the day but the rain should hold off until late afternoon or evening. The rain will increase tomorrow night.
Thursday cold air and showers will move in and we could see some hail with the bigger showers. Snow lines will drop below pass levels and we could see some snow showers as low as 2500'. This system will move south into California Thursday night and we will dry out quickly Friday as a northeasterly jet stream develops. The cold dry Canadian air will clear us out by Friday night.
High pressure will build inland over the weekend and, with clear skies, we can expect cold mornings with areas of valley fog late nights and mornings.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with light rain late, 50 / 55.
Thursday: Showers and cooler, 44 / 48.
Friday: Morning clouds with afternoon clearing, 40 / 45.
