JOSEPH'S FORECAST
January 14, 2013

Our cold night will continue but I'm expecting the number of hours with temperatures below 30 to decrease tonight. We have some high clouds moving through that will help slow down the cooling overnight. Tomorrow we will again start with freezing valley fog inland and frost along the coast. The valley for should burn off earlier for some warming in the afternoon.

The upper level winds have been out of the north and now northeast and that is why it have been so cold. Over the next few days they will shift to the northwest, then to the west - this will bring in warmer and moister air. The valley fog will continue to form inland but at a higher temperature and closer to sunrise. We should also see more afternoon sunshine by the end of the week for warmer days.

Tuesday:  Freezing fog with some afternoon sun, 38 / 43 inland, 47 / 52 coast.

Wednesday:  Morning valley fog then mostly fair, 43 / 48 inland, 50 / 55 coast.

Thursday:  Morning valley fog then mostly sunny, 45 / 50 inland, 51 / 56 coast.
