JOSEPH'S FORECAST
December 31, 2012

Happy New Year everyone. We are going to have a cold one with valley fog forming overnight and some areas could see fog by midnight. There will be plenty of sunshine above the fog and the afternoon temperatures will depend on how soon the fog burns off. I expect everyone to see the sun, especially along the coast.

With clearing skies, temperatures will fall even faster tomorrow night and we should again have freezing fog Wednesday morning. During the day Wednesday the winds will be shifting to the west then southwest. This will bring in warmer air and some high clouds ahead of another front that could give us some showers Thursday morning.

New Year's Day:  Freezing fog early with afternoon sunshine, 45 / 50 coast, 40 / 45 inland.

Wednesday:  Freezing fog early then sunny with high clouds moving inland late, 45 / 50 coast, 40 / 45  inland.

Thursday:  Mostly cloudy with a few showers early, 45 / 50.
