JOSEPH'S FORECAST
January 15, 2013
The cold nights will continue along with valley fog and low clouds for several more days. Tonight I think we will be a few degrees warmer as the fog and low clouds form more quickly. Most areas will still cool below 30 by morning. The coast will be frosty again with mostly clear skies. There will be a better chance of some afternoon sunshine for those foggy areas tomorrow.
By the weekend the high will have moved south and as it weakens over us the inversion weakens and we will start clearing more and warm up. Nights will still be cold but should stay above freezing and with the winds becoming more southerly, daytime temperatures could warm to 50 inland with mid 50s along the coast.
Wednesday: Another cold morning with valley fog and low clouds, mostly fair above, 50 / 55 coast, 40 / 45 inland.
Thursday: Morning valley fog and low clouds with mostly clear skies above, 51 / 56 coast, 42 / 47 inland.
Friday: Areas of valley fog early then mostly sunny, 51 / 56 coast, 43 / 48 inland.
