EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- Eugene and Santa Clara fire crews put out a suspicious early morning fire at a restaurant on River Road Monday. The call came in about 4:30 that flames were seen Don Juan’s Restaurant and Shooter’s Pub & Grill on River Road near Irving Road.

The fire appears to started near an outside electrical panel and a dumpster. Not much apparent damage was seen inside the building; however, sprinklers were triggered, which may have caused some water damage.

Eugene police are investigating the possibility that someone set the fire on purpose. A witness reported someone running from area when the fire was discovered.
