CORVALLIS, Ore. (KMTR) -- One woman is dead and Oregon State Police are considering criminal charges after a fatal wreck near Corvallis.
The wreck happened on Highway 34 near Northeast Colorado Lake Drive.
Police say two cars traveling eastbound somehow collided, sending a red SUV into the westbound traffic where it struck a Jeep SUV.
The female driver of the red SUV died at the scene. Her name is not being released at this time. Oregon State Police say she's in her early 20s.
Traffic is down to one lane in each direction as police troopers continue to investigate.
