EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) - The family of 18-year old Bryson Krissie has told NewsSource 16 the public is invited to the memorial services.
Krissie was killed last week near Lane Community College when a truck hit him from behind and took off. A few days later, Oregon State Police arrested 31-year old Jason Manske and charged him with felony hit and run and criminally negligent homicide.
Thomas Krissie, Bryson's father, told NewsSource 16 the services will be held Saturday, June 16th at West Lawn Cemetery in Eugene.
The family is asking everyone to write a message about Bryson Krissie on a balloon, which they plan to release after the service.
Donations to help the family with expenses can be made to the Dexter Fire Department where Krissie volunteered, Junction City Fire Department or at any US Bank.
