Eugene prepares to fill $6 million budget gap with cuts or new tax

The City of Eugene is preparing for another big budget gap as what was projected to be about $3 million in cuts for the next fiscal year has now doubled.

Maybe if the state would stop these lenghtly paid vactions to so many city workers it would be a good place to start cutting back, no offense to the workers, it's a bit over the top and needs revising

Didn't the council vote a bonus for the city manager last year? How about stop giving away tax breaks instead of raising all our taxes?
