I said it once I'll say it again the best thing for Springfield is the Eugene city council.

Hmm restaurant tax, yeah that will really bring business to town. A new payroll tax, why dont you just open the flood gates for business to leave and make the short trip across I-5 into Springfield. Utility tax, awesome our EWEB bills are already higher than those around us and they keep going up. Come on people of Eugene, wake up, did you really expect anything less than this when Mayor Kitty was re-elected? You cannot tax your way to prosperity.

The POS mayor and council should stop giving tax breaks to companies who come and build and then run out...STOP giving property tax breaks to these people!!! If they don't like it...someone will take their place and build. Tax on restaurants...if you have the money to eat out..pay a tax...many on fixed income cant afford it.

How about the City of Eugene just live within it’s means? We, the People, can’t just invent a new tax to solve our money problems. We have to let some things go, and prioritize. You need to do the same. After all, it is OUR MONEY that you are spending (I should say, in most cases, WASTING!) We are sick and tired of you simply coming to us, via taxes and saying “hand it over”! We DON’T HAVE ANY MORE TO GIVE YOU! Deal with it, and cut programs.

Get the vasoline out, the City of Eugene is looking for new taxes and "investments", the Progressive, Liberal code word for spending your hard earned tax dollars. Trust them they know better how to spend your dollars than you do, that is what Progressive Liberal Bully machine does best.
