Eugene City Council passes 10-year property tax exemption for downtown student housing complex

Approval from Eugene City Council on Wednesday for a major tax break to help usher in a new student housing project and the largest private development in downtown Eugene's history.

Yet there isn't tax excemptions for something that would bring jobs to Eugene.

Awesome! WE all get a 10 year property tax exemption!. Man i am so relieved. I wasnt sure how i was going to make ends meet this year living on a fixed income. with any luck perhaps i will die of old age before my properrty taxes start again.
