EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- More national exposure is coming the way of the Oregon Ducks as one of the nation’s big cell phone networks is now featuring the team and Eugene in an online web series.
AT&T filmed a piece of its 'On the Way to Saturday' series at Autzen Stadium on Wednesday, October 17. The episode in Eugene is now featured online.
The series features two guys named Will and Ravi who are spending the 2012 college football season traveling to fourteen different locations over forteen weeks. Each week, the two travel to a new college campus to face several challenges that are unique traditions of each campus.
In Eugene, the two got a chance to battle the Oregon Duck at push-ups along with other challenges.
Tom Finneran appears as one of the people testing Will and Ravi in the Eugene episode.
"My motto in this character is 'for the fan, of the fan', and it's a great fun time with the kids, the fans, their interactions, their remembrance and their game day experiences - [it] makes everything worth while to me. That's why I do what I do,” said Tom Finneran, who appears in the challenge episode covered in Ducks gear.
