Elementary school practices security drill to find weaknesses

Albany officials worked with Oak Grove Elementary today in hope of finding weaknesses in its security system and to make sure students and staff know what to do in an emergency situation.

There will never be safety in a "gun free zone" until you arm the good guys.

It's sad that our society is so violent and gun-crazy that our schools have to do this, now.

It is interesting how things shake out. Back in the 50's we had drills in school because of the cold war, nukes, etc. We worried about Russia. Now with all our cuddly, cushy, diversity, don't hurt anyone's feelings, tell people how to think society, we have to worry about harm from our own. A society destroying itself from within. Interesting?
