I hope that this man (Coats) is given a psychiatric evaluation and is also not allowed to posses firearms any longer. The fact that this guy (Coats) had all of these weapons so near a school, was drunk and still thought it okay to have the weapons out and maybe use them, and was pointing them at people because he couldn't sleep is very scary! I applaud the deputy's actions.

At first I applauded the officer for having the restraint not to just open fire! But now I have thought about it, reread the article, and I realized that this yo-yo Michael Coats claims he did not know it was a cop! Meaning he is just as likely to be pointing a loaded semi automatic 45 caliber gun at ANYBODY for ANY old reason that comes into his COO-COO-FOR-COCOA-PUFFS mind! He was sitting alone in a motor home armed to the teeth... I also noticed he had two guns that the article said looked the same- though one is a powerful deadly 45 and the other is a pellet gun.... The cop had no choice he had to act cool and not make any sudden movements- that red dot was right on his chest!

What a moron! I hope they took away his guns for good. I applaud the officer for his restraint.
