I can't believe the City of Eugene is allowing the camping at the begenning of an off/on ramp. The city states how broke they are, budget cuts etc and yet it is allowing this to go on at a cost to the city of who knows how much for the police force to keep this under control. They are now building fences around their camp ground. I want to know when this area was turned into a camping ground. I can guarantee you if my family decided to camp there one weekend we would be fined and probably arrested. Its time for this to end and for these people to get jobs and start contributing to the community. When they start working and paying taxes maybe then I will listen to what they have to say.

Ruby thanks for your words. I agree those people are not the 99%, they are just another 1% the real 99% are still working, paying bills, taxes, picking up their kids - they are the real 99%. If it were ever to happed where the real 99% stood up this country would come to a screeching halt real quick.

Wells Fargo makes sense, if you've been following issues of the housing bubble. US Bank is a medium sized bank, and they do give out a lot of loans, but they are not listed in the big abusers. And Umpqua Bank? Yowsers, gimmee a break. I would love to participate in a true 99% event in Eugene, but there is no way I am going to go and stand with an absurd minority who think any bank is bad, even a small regional bank.
