EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- NewsSource 16 has just learned that DUII charges against Isaac Remington have been dropped.
City prosecutor Daniel Barkovic told NewsSource the charges were dropped because the city felt they could not prove beyond doubt that he was impaired.
Senior defensive tackle Isaac Remington was suspended indefinitely from the University of Oregon football team pending clarification of an incident that occurred Friday, October 12 in Eugene, according to the Ducks’ head football coach Chip Kelly.
Eugene police say Remington was cited for DUII shortly after 12:30 AM, October 12 near East 12th Avenue and Kincaid Street in Eugene.
The Phoenix, Arizona native is tied for third on the team in tackles for loss with four for minus thirteen yards. He's made twelve tackles in six games, including four stops earlier this year in a game against the University of Arizona.
I would like to thank everyone who believed me. Thank you for your prayers and support. #goducks
