EUGENE, Ore.--Most college students look for ways to find cheaper textbooks, and the University of Oregon Duck store is offering a few ways to help. Manager Bruce Lundy says they try to help if they can. A website called "BookRenter.com" is linked to the store site. This site allows the customer to rent a book for a cheaper price, and then return it within three months. The book comes with a prepaid shipping label, so the customer needs to just take it to the post office.Lundy says this year they have a number of higher-priced titles for rent in the store, and there is also a price-comparison page available on the website. Students can access this page while shopping. Lundy says they make their prices as competitive as possible, and sometimes even beat the online prices. Lundy explains, “It’s a lot of work but our goal is to give the students as many choices as we can and offer the best possible prices on their course materials.”
