(KMTR) Oregon State Police with the assistance of Lane County Sheriff's Office, arrested a Cottage Grove woman four hours after she fled the scene of a rollover traffic crash involving a stolen sport utility vehicle on Interstate 5 near Creswell.

According to OSP Trooper Evan Sether, on December 2, 2011 at approximately 12:20 a.m. a 2003 Honda Pilot was southbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 181. For an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the Honda Pilot and collided into a guardrail along the median. The vehicle rolled onto its left side blocking the left southbound lane.

An unidentified female driver was helped out of the vehicle by a witness and fled the scene on foot. Responding police officers didn't find her while searching the area. The Honda Pilot was reported stolen October 8, 2011.

At approximately 4:00 a.m. a Lane County Sheriff's Office deputy responded to a report of a disoriented woman knocking on doors in the 8200 block of Davisson Road in the Creswell area. This location is about four miles west of the crash scene. The responding deputy found the woman in some bushes in the area. Subsequent investigation led troopers to arrest the woman identified as Stacey Len Standley, age 39, from Cottage Grove.

Standley was treated at the scene by S. Lane Rural Fire Department for minor injuries. She was later lodged at the Lane County Jail on the following charges:

* Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle

* Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle

* Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

* Criminal Mischief in the First Degree

* Hit & Run - Property Damage

* Reckless Driving

* Parole Violation

Both southbound lanes were blocked for approximately one half hour. Southbound traffic was restricted to one lane for approximately two hours during the investigation.
