Springfield (KMTR) - Monday morning, someone walked into the Springfield School District building and stole several laptop computers.Springfield police say it happened at 7 a.m. and it took only minutes for the thief to get away with four laptop computers.
District employees arriving for work noticed a man walking away carrying a bag. They didn't think twice until the computers were reported missing.
The computers were taken from different offices.
Police say it appears the thief got in through a back door unlocked by a janitor.
Last Thursday, someone broke a window at Page Elementary and stole two desktop computers from the school office.
Police can't say whether the two burglaries are related.
