JUNCTION CITY, Ore. (KMTR) –- Employees at the Rodeo Steak House hosted a fundraiser Sunday to help a coworker who recently lost her husband. Tyler Vale died last week from complications of diabetes. His wife Caitlin works at the restaurant and has an 8-month-old son.

Restaurant staff put together a yard sale for Vale’s memorial fund to help Caitlin and the baby through this difficult time. All the items were donated from the community.

The restaurant will host another event August 1, where wait staff will donate their tips and a portion of proceeds from the entire day will also go to the family fund. Wells Fargo has a fund set up in Tyler Vale’s name; friends say you can go to any branch to make a donation.
