LEBANON, Ore. (KMTR) -- Dutch Bros in Lebanon helping family in need.

This story started as a tragic accident involving a 20-month-old baby girl named Gabi. The little girl fell down suffering a head injury. She was transported to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for emergency brain surgery, but passed away shortly after.

Gabi's parents John and Sarah Garcia are faced with $100,000 in medical bills. John and Sarah have been customers of Dutch Bros Coffee for years and now the company is teaming up to help with some of the medical expenses.

Dutch Bros Coffee is going to donate $1 from every drink sold to help the family. Employees say they feel blessed to work for a company that helps the community.

"It's amazing through something as tragic as this to see the community really come together and help this family," said Regional Manager of Dutch Bros. Coffee Annie Johnson.

Donations start this Friday at the coffee stand in Lebanon, open from 5 AM to 11 PM.
