*Way* below cost I'm sure. It's cheaper even than the cost of crude oil right now (about $100 a 42 gallon barrel), and refinement makes less gas than the crude you started with, so you do the math.

I would like to know if the gasoline was sold at cost, below cost, or cost plus a small profit. It is hard for me to imagine that they were just being benevolent. If the gas was being sold at cost, wow, were they ever making a profit before. Does anyone know what the stations wholesale price was. Does anyone know what most stations wholesale price is? Does KMTR know?
