COOS BAY, Ore. (AP) — The Coast Guard is looking for a man missing off Coos Bay, Ore., after a fishing vessel overturned, dumping him and two other men into the water.
The agency says a Good Samaritan rescued two men from the water Monday but the third man did not surface after the vessel Randi overturned.
One of the rescued men was flown by Coast Guard helicopter to a Coos Bay hospital. The other man was unhurt and was taken to the Coos Bay Coast Guard station. They were not identified.
Two motor lifeboat crews and a helicopter searched the area.
Weather included 6-foot seas with a water temperature of 51 degrees.
