Eugene, Ore. (KMTR) – After three tremendously successful seasons leading the Ducks, rumors and reports are surfacing that head football coach Chip Kelly is on the radar of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins.
The University of Oregon Athletic Department says it has no knowledge of the situation.
Meantime, ESPN and several Miami media outlets are reporting that Kelly's agent has been contacted by the Dolphins.
Regardless, Kelly's status is the talk around the water cooler, but few believe he would leave "if" offered a job.
“I think he likes it here, he just built a house, I'd be real surprised to see that happen,” said football fan Mike Curtis.
Coach Kelly was in New Orleans last night for the BCS Championship Game, and unavailable for comment.
