City responds to Occupy Eugene's "show us the money" statement, wet-bed facility in progress

Two months after the city of Eugene closed Occupy Eugene's camp in Washington-Jefferson Park, protestors are now going after the city, asking leaders in a recent public release to “show them the money" in relation to the creation of a wet-bed facility that so far hasn't opened up.

This "Money" that they are talking about was taken from the gas tax and should be used for its intended reason road repair..why dont they go occupy Springfield for a while. (oh thats right Springfield has a jail that will hold them)

screw these inbred trouble makers..use the money for the extra police pay they caused and the re-sod of the park.

madman, Occupy Eugene is not asking for the money. They are asking that it be used as intended in the council decision. As for the park, it was not left a "mess" needing further clean up. The Parks Department has it closed until the season is right for renewing the grass. And I'm sure you're aware that part of the park was previously used by almost no one.

i see that if occupy eugene wants the MONEY then they should show the city some money for the mess and clean up cost to the Park which is still shut down to things they did to it. So after the park is cleaned up by the protesters and running again what is left if any which i dont think that there will be any left over should go back to the tax payers and not to the protesters
