This report is out of date. A faction of the Occupy Eugene movement announced this morning that they are moving tomorrow, and will instead occupy the University of Oregon starting October 27th.

So who will pay for the clean up and restoration of the park? and the policing needed? the list goes on and I'll tell you the REAL 99% are--those of us who work 8 hours plus a day and come home to take care of our families and don't have enough energy left over to stand around in the park and whine. Oh and don't be mistaken--if responsible folks break a rule they get no accommodations! but if you are "needy" then allowances will be made.

Ahhh, yes, but that would make sense, and Eugene isn't in the 'sense' making business. :)

Wouldnt it be nice if the Eugene city council would be this "accommodating" to buisness's that want to expand their existing busines or new business's that would like to relocate to our area? They seem to bend over backwards for the "takers" of our society but the "givers" only seem to get grief.
