I don't even know what to say anymore. Obviously it doesn't matter. Camp Kitty is a joke. She and the other 5 councilors are getting ram rodded. I sure hope the only question at re-election time is, "How did you vote on the transient camp?"

Post Script: If this keeps up, Long time citizens will be moving, which equals no more property tax - I am so tired of the city...'relocating' funds at their whim...Regardless of what the voters PASS...

I remember 'parking' on the butte and our police booting us out at 12am...Not a big deal...It was all in good kid fun...BUT, NOW, All we are doing here is telling everyone...'Hey, Come to Eugene, You'll be clothed, fed and be king of the world...' You can act out, not work, get all the FREE bleep imaginable...I am in my 40's, But I still KNOW about the Depression, THERE WERE NO RESOURCES, You were luck to get some soup at a soup kitchen...I give and give, donate food, clothes, and I will not stop, but SOMEONE (Mayor?) needs to take control, and get a grip on this....Jan 11??? More weeks to INVITE more people here...I've lived in Eugene my entire life, as well as 4 generations, and I am about outta here...Such a sad way we are going...

Another reason why I'm glad I moved out of the People's Republic of Eugene. Everyone see the price tag of this marvelous cesspool otherwise known as Camp Kitty. Figures coming from a town that immortalizes heroin junkie Kesey and drunk driver Prefontaine.

It will cost the city more money to take care of these people so how about this. The EPD start ticketing people instead of...as the scanner says.."advised" How about busting the cell phone users..in fact, how about they start holding up the vehicle and bike laws???
