Celebration of Life for Cody Myers, public welcome

The family of Cody Myers will be celebrating his life Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with a celebration service open to the public.

The service will be held in the 350 seat Osterman Theatre of the Niemeyer Center Building at Clackamas Community College. A TV feed will be established in case of an overflow crowd.

Pastor Evangelist Edward Klein of Portland will lead the service. Speakers include:

* Bill Briare, Dean of Arts & Sciences at Clackamas Community College

* Family members

* Members of the audience will also be given an opportunity to share special memories about Cody

Music will be provided by some of the bands Cody played with.

A reception will follow in the Niemeyer Center lobby.

Family requests flowers and cards are sent to Unger Funeral Chapel, 229 Mill Street, in Silverton. The funeral home will deliver these to the college for the celebration service.

I am so so sorry for your loss. Cody sounds like he was quite an amazing young man. I hope you can find peace somehow, some way.
