ROSEBURG, Ore. (KMTR)
-- On Monday morning the Roseburg Fire Department responded to the report of a residential fire in the 400 block of SE Ramp Street in Roseburg. Upon entering the home firefighters located one adult person who was deceased. The Roseburg Police Department responded to the scene for traffic control and to assist with the death investigation. At this time the identification of the victim has not been confirmed.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated cooperatively by the Roseburg Fire Department, Roseburg Police Department and the Oregon State Fire Marshal. The fire was contained to one residence and did not threaten any other homes or structures in the immediate area.
