Bicylist injured in truck crash

Eugene (KMTR) - A section of 18th Avenue near Hawkins Street in southwest Eugene was closed Wednesday night as Eugene Police investigated a crash between a truck and bicyclist.

Police say the cyclist has serious injuries, but is expected to survive.

Sad. Hope the bicyclist will be ok. Also hope all involved are doing well. An accident is always traumatic for all involved. Please be careful out there, follow the rules, use safety measures and drive defensively. Hope there are more details soon.
