All lanes now open I-5 near Cottage Grove

Cottage Grove (KMTR) - Oregon Dept. of Transportation reports a jackknifed semi truck was blocking both lanes of I-5 northbound at milepost 170, approximately two miles south of Cottage Grove. A second semi was disabled and blocking I-5 southbound at milepost 173.  Traffic was able to get by on the shoulders in both locations.

All lanes of I-5 northbound are now open at milepost 170, approximately two miles south of Cottage Grove, where a semi jackknifed earlier today.

Motorists should anticipate winter driving conditions on state highways throughout western Oregon this morning.
