BOISE, Idaho -- Albertson's is recalling a number of ground beef products sold at stores in Oregon, Washington and Idaho due to risk of E. coli contamination. No illnesses have been reported.

The grocery chain, owned by Supervalu Inc., said the move follows an expanded recall by XL Foods Inc. for ground beef products imported from Canada.

The recall includes 1 pound fresh ground beef patties, 1 pound fresh ground beef chub, and 3 pound fresh ground beef chub, all with the Albertson's store label. The products were sold between September 3 and September 21 in all Albertson's stores in Washington and Oregon, as well as three stores in Northern Idaho: Coeur d'Alene, Hayden and Lewiston.

Customers should return any of the recalled products for a refund or replacement.
