I'm not a hippie - in fact I work in a cubicle and wear button up shirts and work full time. But this fair is wonderful - a place where people can wear almost anything, be playful, kid-like, joyous, free-spirited, without judgement or critique. It refreshes my soul to go there every year.

@sab17 - thanks for the heads-up on the misspelling of 'grateful', meaning appreciative, thankful. Stories are typically reviewed for accuracy, context and spelling; due to the date/time it was published, it didn't come up for review until after the weekend. Thanks for watching KMTR NewsSource 16 and reading kmtr.com. Jane Ujhazi Webmaster

Wishing happiness to all those who partake in the 'faire .. I remember a time long ago when the OCF was truly an expression of love, community, and freedom. Of course, back then it was free to attend as well.

I don't see the conservatives hosting an celebration anytime EVER that is a HUGE cash cow for Lane County!!! Farr, Bozovich and Leiken can take note and maybe stop bashing the liberals ya tea party kooks!!! Sit around and complain about socialism and liberals, but look who's actually doing the "GOOD" in this community!!!
