Eugene (KMTR) The heat wave continues today with temperatures getting up into the high 80's in some areas and after this weekend on the water, people are being reminded to be extra careful.

4 people died on Oregon waterways. In just 2 days, three men drowned in rivers. One died in the Willamette, another, on the Columbia and the third drowned in the Toutle River.

A 4-year-old boy died at Rooster Rock State Park in the Portland area. Choppy conditions on the Columbia River left 4 jet-skiers stranded in the water. Rescue crews helped get them to safety.
