YONCALLA, Ore. -- Crews are looking into what caused a widespread power outage that cut service to over 3,200 customers living in north Douglas County.
Officials said the outage knocked out power to the North County service territory.
Service crews identified a specific problem in the Goodrich Highway area. They were deployed to isolate the specific problem area and pick up other areas currently without power.
Crews started working on the isolated areas at around 2:30 p.m. to restore service to those without power. They expect to have electricity back online by about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Viewers from the Yoncalla and Sutherlin area said they lost power at around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
