SALEM, Ore. -- Detectives are asking for the public's help in finding out more about a woman who was found dead along Nevada Street north of Salem.

Marion County Sheriff's deputies were called out to the 4800 block of Nevada St. SE Friday evening after a passerby reported seeing a deceased woman's body off to the side of the road.

The body was found near the Lake Labish County Park off of Highway 99E.

Detectives said they are waiting on the medical examiner's autopsy to confirm the cause of death, however officials identified the deceased as 25-year-old Chandra Donohoe.

Donohoe (pictured below) was last seen in the Salem area on Thursday, August 21.
