So you think you can prance?

EUGENE, Ore. - Jackie Dame had just moved in to Cascade Manor when a man asked her to prance.

"This man came up to me and said, 'Would you like to take part in a prancercise?'" Dame recalled.

Peter Marquardt had seen the viral video phenomenon Prancercise and thought the residents of Cascade Manor could do better.

The recreation manager got 60 residents of the retirement community to take part in a parody video.

"We have people prancing into the dining room," he said. "We have people prancing during exercise class."

They pranced on the activity bus. They pranced in public places.

For a while.

"We got thrown out of a restaurant in Cottage Grove," Marquardt said, "because we were prancing."
