Police: Man convicted of sex abuse back in jail after going too close to victim

EUGENE, Ore. - The former high school athletic trainer

convicted of sexually abusing a student

was free pending sentencing but is back in jail after going to a home where the victim was located.

Timothy Schley

on Monday afternoon after getting a report that he had violated his release from jail by going near the victim.

A jury found Schley guilty last Thursday on three counts of second degree sex abuse.

He was free pending sentencing Wednesday.

After his initial arrest, Schley bailed out of jail only to go back after being accused of having contact with the victim in the case.
