Man charged DUII, hit and run in February pedestrian crash

EUGENE, Ore. -- Police arrested a man for a hit and run crash that put a pedestrian in the hospital nearly 3 weeks ago.

Benjamin Michael Stanton, 25, was booked at the Lane County Jail Thursday on charges of felony hit and run and DUII.

Officials said the arrest is related to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash February 28 near the intersection of 9th and Garfield.

At the time police said they found the SUV involved but couldn’t find the driver.
