"Kitten season starts when the weather warms up," said Wendy Kang with Saving Grace. "It's just getting started this year. In an average June or July we will probably receive 400 cats and kittens."
Saving Grace is looking for foster families to help with the kitten boom.
"A home situation gets them better socialized," Kang said. "It also is not exposing them to many potential viruses and health issues."
