EUGENE, Ore. - The Eugene Hilton hosted over 400 people on Christmas Day at the senior holiday dinner.
The event is organized by the Lane County Human Services Commission.
The 2013 dinner marks the 35th year.
People who attended enjoyed a full meal, danced to live music and particapted in a holiday raffle.
Donations from around the community help keep ticket prices affordable.
Many said they return year after year.
"It's a place for them to come if they don't have family or if they'd just rather come and mingle and socialize with people their age," said Ramona Correia with Arc of Lane County. "So it's a very meaningful experience for many of the seniors in the community."
Over 50 volunteers assist hotel staff in putting on the senior dinner.
