Eugene native and wife deploy to Afghanistan as medics
Tech. Sgt. Tyler Szymanski, or "Ski," and Staff Sgt. Maria Szymanski, both 366th Surgical Operations Squadron medical technicians, visit a bazaar on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan. The couple first deployed together in 2011, and again in 2013, and spent one week stationed on BAF together before Ski forward deployed with a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha in Kanduz province, Afghanistan.
