Air Force Senior Airman Taylor Savage (deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C.) and Staff Sgt. Maria Szymanski (deployed from Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho) before a May 29-30, 2013, convoy from Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, to forward operating bases and combat outposts in Wardak province.
