Corvallis schools putting iPads in hands of students

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Three Corvallis schools are putting iPads in the hands of students as part of an initiative to get every student in the Corvallis School district connected with the technology.

The principals at Linus Pauling and Cheldelin middle schools both said this will end the technology gap and be especially helpful to students who couldn't afford tablet computers otherwise.

Lots of teachers already have been using apps as part of their classes.
