4 development groups vie for EWEB waterfront acreage

EUGENE, Ore. - Eugene Water and Electric Board is reviewing development proposals for the 17-acre riverfront property adjacent to its administrative building.

Four groups submitted their qualifications following last month’s request by EWEB.

While all the agencies have local ties, the University of Oregon Foundation and Paradigm Properties are based in Eugene.

Trammel Crow and Williams/Dame and Associates have offices in Portland.

After reviewing each proposal, EWEB officials will hear from some or all of the developers at the end of July.

At that time, the top development teams will make public presentations to EWEB’s board of five commissioners.

Commissioners are expected to choose one of the finalists to develop the prime piece of real estate by the end of the summer or early fall.

For more information on each group, and their proposals, visit this section of the EWEB website.
