Sheriff: Man found dead in pond died from 'homicidal violence'

The body of Tim E. Miller, 56, was found in a shallow pond on a large piece of rural property 7 miles south of Sweet Home commonly known as the Rockin Red Ranch, the Linn County Sheriff's Office said.

Miller's son Jason reported the Sweet Home man missing on Tuesday.

State and local law enforcement are investigating Miller's death, the sheriff said.
