ALBANY, Ore. - The Ray's grocery store in North Albany closes in 3 days, one of the 16 stores the Oregon company is closing or selling as it goes through Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The shelves were emptying out at the Albany location.

Kate Porsche with the City of Albany told KVAL News the city is working with the realtor for the property and writing letters to potential buyers.

The Ray's in North Albany is one of 16 stores the company is closing or selling. Stores in Creswell, Pleasant Hill and Philomath are also on the list.
