California-based Russell Powell takes finger painting to another level with these celebrity portraits created using his hands! The young artist is able to paint incredibly detailed portraits on the palm of his left hand, before stamping it on a paper canvas to create a permanent imprint of the artwork. Powell calls the process ‘hand-stamping’; “The handstamps are a technique I started about a year ago just experimenting after painting my students faces.” “I would just doodle on my hand…after 40 or so I figured out how to stamp them, but it’s still a learning process everyday…” Featuring: Atmosphere Where: California, United States When: 09 Jul 2015 Credit: Supplied by WENN.com **WENN does not claim any ownership including but not limited to Copyright, License in attached material.
