The Mariners have been a tear since the All-Star break. They’ve had an 8-game winning streak and a 9-game home winning streak in recent weeks. For a young team that has seen its fair share of injuries and distractions, reaching .500 would be a big source of pride and could be a huge building block heading into next season.
