COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (KMTR) - Two men were arrested Wednesday night after allegedly shooting at another vehicle from their vehicle following a dispute at a trailer park north of Cottage Grove.

Oregon State Police (OSP) Criminal Investigation Division detectives, with the assistance of Lane County Sheriff's Office and Lane County District Attorney's Office, are continuing the investigation.

According to Sergeant Andy Kenyon, on February 13 at approximately 6:00 PM, the occupants of two pickups were traveling northbound on Highway 99 near milepost 9 following an alleged dispute at the Saginaw Trailer Court - Mobile Home Park. While chasing after the victim, a gray 1989 Dodge Dakota pickup with two men intentionally struck the victim's red 1988 Ford F150 pickup. As the Dodge pickup then passed the Ford pickup, a passenger fired a shotgun at the Ford pickup, hitting it near the driver's side rear wheel.

After the shooting, the victim, Harold Lloyd Wilson, age 49, contacted an OSP trooper at a local store to report the incident. Wilson was not injured. The trooper and Lane County deputies located the two suspects at the trailer park and detained them for detectives.

A subsequent initial investigation led OSP detectives to arrest the two men from the Dodge pickup and lodge them in the Lane County Jail. They are identified as:

Driver Joshua James Miller, age 27, from Springfield

  • Menacing
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person

Passenger Daniel Clinton Moore, age 34, from Cottage Grove
