EUGENE, Ore. (KMTR) -- Hamming it up and looking lovely for the camera on Super Bowl Sunday, support from dozens of dogs and their owners for one of Lane County’s animal shelters.

Greenhill Humane Society put on its annual Valentine’s photo shoot at the 5th Street Market on Sunday, February 5th, 2012.

More than 30 dogs and their owners took part, sitting pretty in front of a Valentine’s Day themed backdrop. In exchange for a donation, pet owners get a few pictures with or without their pet.

“We support Greenhill, it's a great organization, and I think its also fun to see all of the dogs here, and see all the kind of, you know, he's got his bandana that he hates, we like, you know its just fun to see all of the dogs and support a good organization,” says Peter Fehrs, one of the dog owners participating in the photo shoot today.

100% of the money raised from the event goes to Greenhill Humane Society. The event typically brings in about $1000.

Greenhill’s next photo shoot comes in April with the Easter bunny.
